DYYSG combines Taiji Quan, Qigong, Chinese medicine, and western medicine to address the most common concerns experienced during our daily lives. These exercises also promote the balance of Ying and Yang through the use of traditional music and by blending breathing and meditation together.

Daoyin and Yangsheng

Daoyin:
physical and breathing exercise combined with the automassage as a kind of practice for healthy care in ancient times. It is actually a Taoist concept advocates voluntary circulation of body energy through exercise. Yangsheng : Health preserving practice. Usually referring to dietary regime and such exercise as Qigong dirigation with the effect of maintaining and promoting health in general as well as prevent and curing disease. |
Professor Zhang Guangde made a keen study of the classical theories of a Chinese Daoyin, Yangsheng and longevity school, inherited a family owned exercise for Chronic Disease from his maternal grandfather, and thus developed this Daoyin Yangshengong in the years between 1974 and 1976.
Theoretically, these exercise are guided by the theories of the traditional Chinese medicine such as the concept of wholism, the theory of the diagnosis and treatment based on the differential analysis of the symptoms and signs, the ancient theories of Yin and Yang, and the Five Evolutive Phase and Energy Circulation through the channels and the etiology and pathology of the disease and related studies of modern medicine |
